I order the dozen non frozen perogies and have them fry them up for me in bacon and onions. Always delicious, good size perogies . I’m going to have to try their borscht , looks amazing

Make no mistake, the Ukrainian food they’ve here is by far the best in the city, far better than the other Ukrainian establishments throughout the city. It’s top quality and they serve some dishes you can’t find elsewhere in the city.Everything is however overpriced here compared to the other Ukrainian food establishments throughout the city, but as mentioned above the quality is top tier.

Simply superb! We picked up a dinner for 6 to help introduce ourselves to a new friend visiting from Ukraine and the food was amazing. They even stayed open 30 minutes late so they food would be hot and fresh when we came to pick it up. I cant say enough good things about Kozak foods. Thank you very much for making it a wonderful evening.

Very cute and friendly owner. Food here was fantastic! Owner gave us free pompushkies to try and I instantly feel in love and bought half a dozen. Perogies were also delicious with caramelized onions and bacon, topped with the sour cream.

This is some of the most delicious Eastern European food I have ever eaten. The store is practical and down to earth and offers a nice little eating area. I loved the cabbage rolls, the pirogies were out of this world and the piroshki were incredible. I would recommend this place for anyone! The food is affordable, tasty and leaves you feeling great after you've eaten it.

This was a great place! We were visiting Winnipeg from out of town, and we were looking for something unique! Kozak Food had good reviews, so we stopped in. It is a cute little spot, very charming. You can grab some freezer items, which we would have had we not been on a trip. You can also order a hot meal for takeout. We ordered their sampler so we could have a variety. Everything was great! The woman who helped us was really friendly. Definitely a highlight of our trip!

Take out and catering for ethnic cuisine - specifically Ukranian dishes. Very good range of foods, with good selection of serving options. Small and large batches of soups, perogi, meat dishes. Nice supply of hearty difficult to make dishes too. Sauerkraut stuffed mini buns, many many kinds of perogi, decent cabbage rolls (sorry, no one makes them as well as Baba.) Kind of hard for me to get there but I will visit if in the neighbourhood.

Great Ukrainian food but a very excellent selection of other foods.Salads and soup were superb.this place is a gem - wish I had found it sooner.worth a trip from anywhere in the city.
