There is alot to unpack here.Firstly the location is in a wonderful town worthy of its own review and exploration. Parking is not hard, right near the entrance in kind of a strip center.Walking in reminds me exactly of a traditional restaurant I frequented in Kyiv. Decor is done right with working life and traditional painted depictions. The tables and booths are of heavy sturdy dark wood and examples of Ukrainian decorations are all over the place. The food is also traditional. Having married into a Ukrainian family, my opinion might be elementary, but everything was authentic and tasty. I went full bore with the cherry ribs and corn porridge etc. You really would do yourself a justice in coming here and exploring the menu a few times.Place was pretty full and I got the impression this was not untypical. Everyone was enjoying themselves and plant of conversations. Atmosphere was really good.

We went for their Mother’s Day 3 course meal, and everything was SO GOOD!! They catered to my vegetarian needs, swapping out the meat for some other sides. It has such a cozy atmosphere — makes you feel like you’re really in Ukraine!

Update: I am so glad Taste of Ukraine survived through covid. It's the same delicious food and I still love it here! Also if you haven't gone to pickle fest, you need to go!Original review: The food is always amazing here and the atmosphere very quaint and cozy!

Best Ukrainian food I've ever had (besides my baba's). Everything tastes delicious and fresh, with my favourites being the Kovbasa & Kraut and Meatballs in Gravy. All the sides are delicious; the nalysnyky and pyrizhky are perfect and not overly rich, and the pyrohy are my absolute favourite. So glad their business survived during COVID and so happy to see all the support they had when they did their fundraiser for Ukraine.

I arrived when it was pretty quiet, and the service was incredible. The place itself looks every traditional with all sorts of art and decorations everywhere, a beautiful hand painted mural, and staff that wear traditional uniforms. The food was a bit pricey however the quality of the food you get is truly worth it all. In the photos, i got the meatballs with cheese crepes and cheese perogies, as well as cherry tea.

Taste of Ukraine has authentic, home-cooked taste of Ukrainian favourites. It's like a hug for your stomach. The decor is charming and the serving staff are so pleasant. Order the plate of just pickles" for a trip down memory lane to baba's house."

Good variety of dishes, delicious food, and friendly service! Highly recommend a reservation or calling ahead for orders, as they fill up quickly and it may be a long wait.

Food is very tasty and seems home cooked. Never had Ukrainian food before outside of the odd cabbage roll, and the variety that you can get on your plate with a standard entree was awesome!I'm usually very critical of Caesars (the clamato drink) made at restaurants and although this lacked any flare (some people like flare I suppose), the taste exceeded my expectations and was a welcome surprise.Great place if you want a meal that gives you a feeling of home (regardless of you're familiar with the cooking style).I'll definitely go again as there's lots on the menu I still want to try!
